1. Who we are

Planiq is a construction-training platform that helps interns, project engineers, and students learn modern construction-management tools and workflows. This page is maintained by the Planiq team to answer common privacy questions about the app.

2. Information we collect

• Account info — email, display name, and the role/skill level you provide at signup.
• Learning activity — XP, streaks, badges, completed lessons, quiz scores, and simulation outcomes you generate inside Planiq.
• Usage data — basic device and session data needed to keep the service running.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your learning activity for advertising.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate Planiq, personalize your learning path, save progress across devices, and provide crew/leaderboard features you opt into.

4. Sign-in providers

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and avatar from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

5. Notifications

If you grant browser notification permission, Planiq may send reminders for streaks, weekly challenges, and crew updates. You can revoke permission at any time from your browser or device settings.

6. Your choices

• Download a copy of your profile and progress from Account Settings.
• Delete your account and associated data from the same screen.
• Contact us at privacy@planiq.app for any other request.

7. Children

Planiq is intended for users 13 and older. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
